Sweepstakes & Affiliation Disclaimer
Effective date: November 5, 2026
This disclaimer is part of our Terms of Service. It explains what SweepTakers is and is not, so that nobody mistakes us for a sweepstakes sponsor or thinks we enter sweepstakes for them.
We are not affiliated with any sponsor
SweepTakers is an independent service. We do not sponsor, administer, or judge any sweepstakes, contest, or giveaway shown here, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any sponsor, promoter, or listing website unless we expressly say so. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners. Listings are for information only and may be inaccurate, changed, or expired. Each sweepstakes is governed solely by its sponsor's Official Rules — read them before entering. No purchase is necessary to enter any sweepstakes, and a SweepTakers subscription does not improve your odds of winning.
You click Submit
SweepTakers fills in the blanks — you do the entering. We never submit entries for you, solve CAPTCHAs, or enter on your behalf. Review every field, check the Official Rules (eligibility, entry limits, and whether entries must be typed by hand or form-fillers or autofill tools are forbidden), then click the sponsor's own Submit button yourself. If a sweepstakes' rules require entries to be typed by hand or forbid form-fillers or autofill tools by name, don't use SweepTakers on it.
We read a general ban on bots, scripts or other automated methods as aimed at entries made by software, not at filling in your own details while you enter yourself. We read a ban on entry services as aimed at companies that enter sweepstakes for you in bulk, by mailing entries or submitting them automatically. SweepTakers isn't one of them: it's productivity software that fills in your details, and you start the fill yourself, review it and submit your own entry. We read a ban on artificial intelligence (AI) as aimed at entries that AI makes or submits. For filling forms, SweepTakers uses AI only to draft and check the form templates we use for some sweepstakes ahead of time and, during a fill, to recognize fields it can't match on its own. For those fields it sends AI the website's domain name and how the page describes them (such as their labels), never your saved profile or what's in the form's fields, and it first removes the saved details that could identify you, such as your name, email, phone number and address, where it finds them in that description. AI never enters for you or clicks Submit. But the sponsor decides: if you read the rules as forbidding SweepTakers, enter by hand. Our reading covers filling in your details, not the extension's "I agree" button: if you're not sure the rules allow the button, tick the boxes yourself.
When we know that a sweepstakes' rules require manual entry or ban form-fillers, we turn autofill off for it. A general clause against "robotic, automatic, macro, programmed, third-party or like methods", a ban on entry services or a ban on AI, doesn't turn it off on its own (see Section 5 of our Terms of Service). We cannot review every sponsor's rules, and rules can change, so checking them is always up to you.
Listings
- Listings come from sources that license or permit our use, from members, and from our team. We review every member submission before it appears. Listings we have reviewed against our checklist say "Reviewed by SweepTakers" with the date, and show what we checked. Listings from our feed partners may be published without an individual review. Either way, we cannot verify everything, and details such as prizes, dates, and eligibility can change without notice.
- A "Reviewed by SweepTakers" label covers only the items it lists, as the sponsor's pages showed them on that date. It is not an endorsement, and not a promise that the sponsor will run the promotion fairly or award any prize. We don't run any sweepstakes or pick winners.
- The sponsor's Official Rules always control. If a listing and the Official Rules disagree, the Official Rules are right.
- A listing labeled "Sponsored Ad" is a paid placement: its sponsor paid us to feature its own sweepstakes there. The same sweepstakes may also appear among our other listings without the label, in the place it would have anyway. Apart from "Sponsored Ad" placements, nobody pays us to list a sweepstakes or to change where it appears. A paid placement appears only while its listing shows "Reviewed by SweepTakers", which it earns through the same review as any other listing. Payment never buys that label, a better place among our other listings, or our members' personal information.
- "Sponsor:" on a listing names the company that runs the promotion under its Official Rules; only the "Sponsored Ad" label means a listing is a paid placement. Sponsor names and trademarks are used only to identify the promotion. Their use does not mean the sponsor endorses SweepTakers.
Prizes are between you and the sponsor
Sponsors choose winners, award prizes, and decide every question about eligibility, entries, and prizes under their Official Rules. We have no role in any of it and cannot help with a prize claim. Winners are usually responsible for taxes on prizes; check the Official Rules.
A word about scams: legitimate sweepstakes never ask you to pay a fee, buy something, or give bank or card details to claim a prize. If you are asked to, it is likely a scam. SweepTakers will never contact you about a prize you won.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee that you are eligible for any sweepstakes, that any entry will be accepted or valid, that you will win, or that autofill will work correctly on any particular form. See Sections 13 and 14 of our Terms of Service.
