Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: November 5, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy explains how you may and may not use SweepTakers. It is part of our Terms of Service. We wrote it to protect you, other members, sweepstakes sponsors, and the Service itself. Sponsors can disqualify entries that break their rules, so following this policy also protects your entries.
The basic idea
SweepTakers saves you typing. It does not enter sweepstakes for you, and it must never be used to get around a sponsor's rules. You review every form and click the sponsor's own Submit button yourself, one entry at a time, as yourself.
Using the autofill assistant
You must:
- Read the Official Rules first and follow them, including eligibility, entry limits, and entry frequency.
- Not use autofill where it is not allowed. If a sweepstakes' Official Rules require entries to be typed manually, or forbid form-fillers, autofill or form-filling software by name, enter by hand without SweepTakers, or don't enter. We read a general clause against bots, scripts or "robotic, automatic, macro, programmed, third-party or like methods" as aimed at entries made by software instead of by you, not at the autofill assistant filling in your own details while you enter yourself. We read a ban on entry services as aimed at companies that enter sweepstakes for you in bulk, by mailing entries or submitting them automatically. SweepTakers isn't one of them: it's productivity software that fills in your details, and you start the fill yourself, review it and submit your own entry (see Section 5 of our Terms of Service). We read a ban on artificial intelligence (AI) as aimed at entries that AI makes or submits. For filling forms, SweepTakers uses AI only to draft and check the form templates we use for some sweepstakes ahead of time and, during a fill, to recognize fields it can't match on its own. For those fields it sends AI the website's domain name and how the page describes them (such as their labels), never your saved profile or what's in the form's fields, and it first removes the saved details that could identify you, such as your name, email, phone number and address, where it finds them in that description. AI never enters for you or clicks Submit. But the sponsor decides whether an entry is valid: if you read a sweepstakes' rules as forbidding the autofill assistant, or the sponsor tells you so, enter by hand. Our reading covers filling in your details, not the extension's "I agree" button: if you're not sure the rules allow the button, tick the boxes yourself.
- Use only your own information. Your autofill profile must contain your own true details. Never save, use, or enter someone else's information.
- Review every field before you submit, and fix anything the assistant got wrong.
- Complete the human steps yourself. Agree to the Official Rules and confirm your eligibility and age only if you agree and every statement is true for you, whether you tick those boxes yourself or click the extension's "I agree" button to tick the ones it lists (your click is your own agreement). Decide on any marketing, newsletter, text-message, contact or data-sharing boxes yourself: the extension is built to leave them, but it can't read every form correctly, so check each box it lists and the rest of the form, and untick anything you don't agree to before you submit. Solve any CAPTCHA or verification yourself, and click Submit yourself.
- Respect entry limits. Do not enter more often than the Official Rules allow, even if the Service would let you open the form again.
Things you must not do
Automation and evasion
- Use bots, scripts, macros, auto-clickers, browser automation, or any other tool to submit entries, click buttons, press keys, or advance forms, whether on their own or combined with SweepTakers. (The extension's own "I agree" button, which ticks only the boxes it lists when you click it, is not such a tool.)
- Modify, repackage, or extend the SweepTakers extension, or connect it to other software, so that it submits entries or acts without your direct involvement.
- Solve, bypass, or outsource CAPTCHAs or other verification, or get around any rate limit, fraud check, or security measure, on our Service or a sponsor's site.
- Hide or disguise who or where you are to get around eligibility rules or entry limits, for example with proxies, VPNs, IP rotation, or altered browser fingerprints.
Identity and eligibility
- Create or use more than one SweepTakers account, or share an account.
- Enter the same sweepstakes under more than one name, email address, phone number, or mailing address.
- Enter on behalf of anyone else, including family members, or let anyone else enter using your account.
- Give false information to us or to any sponsor.
Our Service
- Scrape, crawl, copy, or harvest our feed, listings, templates, or other content by automated means, or use them to build or supply a competing product or dataset.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract our source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service, or probe or test its security without our written permission.
- Resell, rent, or commercially exploit the Service or access to it.
- Upload malware or anything harmful, or use the Service to break any law or anyone else's rights.
Submitting giveaways
When you submit a giveaway, you must follow these rules:
- Accurate and real. Submit only real sweepstakes that are open now. Take the facts from the sponsor's own official pages and include a link to the Official Rules.
- Open to US residents, and free to enter. No purchase may be required, or the sweepstakes must offer a free way to enter.
- No personal information. Never include personal details about you or anyone else.
- No copying. Write facts in your own words. Do not paste other websites' descriptions, editorial text, or images.
- No spam or tracking. No referral, affiliate, or tracking links; no scams, fake giveaways, or lead-generation schemes; no duplicate submissions of a listing that is already in our feed or waiting for review.
- Be upfront about connections. Don't submit a promotion you're paid to promote, or that your employer, agency, or client runs, without saying so on the form.
We may limit how many submissions you can send per day.
Rewards
Do not try to game the Rewards Program, for example by using extra accounts, submitting fake, copied, or duplicate listings, or hiding a connection to the sponsor. We never reward reviews or ratings of SweepTakers, in the Chrome Web Store or anywhere else.
Respecting sponsors and website owners
If a sponsor or website owner asks us to stop autofill on their pages, we will turn it off for everyone, and you must not try to work around that. Do not use the Service to harass sponsors, platforms, or other members.
What happens if you break this policy
Depending on how serious the problem is, we may warn you, remove your content, reject or reverse free Pro rewards, limit features, or suspend or close your account, as described in our Terms of Service. We may also turn off autofill for a website or sweepstakes at any time.
Reporting a problem
If you see a listing that is fake, misleading, or breaks a sponsor's rights, or anyone misusing the Service, email support@evolve-group-llc.com. For copyright complaints, follow our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
