Copyright & DMCA Policy
Effective date: November 5, 2026
SweepTakers respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our members to do the same. This policy explains how we build our listings, how to tell us about material you believe infringes your copyright, and how a member can respond. It is part of our Terms of Service.
How we build listings
Listings in our feed contain facts about a promotion, such as the sponsor, the prize, dates, eligibility, and entry frequency, together with links to the sponsor's official entry and Official Rules pages. We write listing summaries in our own words. We do not copy other websites' descriptions, editorial text, or images, and we only fetch listings from sources that license or permit our use. Our members agree to the same rules when they submit giveaways.
Reporting copyright infringement (DMCA notice)
If you believe that material on SweepTakers infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send a written notice to our designated agent (details below) under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed (or, for several works, a representative list);
- identification of the material you believe is infringing and that you want removed, with enough information for us to find it, such as its web address;
- your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
We may give a copy of your notice, including your contact information, to the member who posted the material.
Our designated agent
Copyright Agent, Evolve Group LLC
54 State Street, Ste 804 #1164, Albany, NY 12207
Email: support@evolve-group-llc.com
Email reaches our designated agent fastest; please put "Copyright notice" in the subject line. For anything other than copyright notices and counter-notices, see our Contact page.
What we do when we receive a valid notice
We will remove or disable access to the material promptly, and we will make a reasonable effort to tell the member who posted it, if any, so that they can send a counter-notice.
Counter-notice
If material you posted was removed and you believe that happened because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send our designated agent a written counter-notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, mailing address, and telephone number; and
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent.
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we will send a copy to the person who sent the original notice. We will restore the material in 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice, unless the original sender tells us that they have filed a court action to stop the infringement.
Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you are not sure whether material infringes your rights, consider talking to a lawyer first.
Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable and terminate the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
Sponsors and website owners
If you run a sweepstakes or a website and want a listing corrected or removed, want us to stop crawling your site, or want autofill turned off for your entry pages, email support@evolve-group-llc.com from an address at your domain. We act on these requests within 24 hours. Our crawler is described on our SweepTakersBot page.
Trademarks
Sponsor names and trademarks in listings are used only to identify the promotion. If you believe a listing uses your trademark in a misleading way, email support@evolve-group-llc.com.
