SweepTakers for Chrome

Autofill assistant: fills your saved details on the official entry page — you review and click Submit.

What the extension does with your data

  • When you ask it to fill a form on a sweepstakes entry page (with its toolbar button, right-click menu or keyboard shortcut, or by opening a sweepstakes from the SweepTakers website on a site you allowed), it reads that page's form fields and fills them with the profile you saved: name, email, phone, mailing address, date of birth and, if you add them, gender, social media handles and education or vehicle details. Your profile comes from your SweepTakers account, or stays only in this browser if you choose local-only mode.
  • It never submits for you. You review every field and click the sweepstakes' own Submit button yourself. It ticks a box only when you click its “I agree” button after a fill, and then only the boxes it lists. It's built to list only required Official Rules, terms, privacy, eligibility and age boxes (an age box only when the date of birth in your profile meets that age) and to leave marketing, newsletter, text-message and other opt-ins and any box it isn't sure about, but it can't read every form correctly. Before you click, check each box it lists and the rest of the form; before you submit, untick anything you don't agree to. What you submit is your decision. It never types a signature, and never touches CAPTCHAs, Submit buttons, passwords or payment fields.
  • To recognize forms, it may send SweepTakers and our AI service provider the website's domain name and, for each field it can't match itself, the field's label or nearby text, name, ID, type, autocomplete hint, placeholder, accessibility label, whether it's required, its length limit and its option texts. These are the page's own text: before sending them, it removes the saved details that could identify you, such as your name, email, phone number and address, where it finds them. Your saved profile, what's in the form's fields and the page's path are never sent for this; your details are filled in on your device.
  • Entry tracker: when you submit a form it filled, or click “Mark as entered”, it saves the page's address (without any query string), its title and the time to your SweepTakers account, so you can track your entries. It does not record other websites you visit.
  • We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Connections to SweepTakers are encrypted, and our service providers encrypt the data they store for us. What this extension keeps on your computer is in Chrome's extension storage and is not separately encrypted. You can delete your data anytime. Extension privacy · Privacy Policy

The extension shows this disclosure and asks for your agreement before it collects anything. Details: Chrome Extension Privacy & Data Disclosure.

SweepTakers fills in the blanks — you do the entering. We never submit entries for you, solve CAPTCHAs, or enter on your behalf. Review every field, check the Official Rules (eligibility, entry limits, and whether entries must be typed by hand or form-fillers or autofill tools are forbidden), then click the sponsor's own Submit button yourself. If a sweepstakes' rules require entries to be typed by hand or forbid form-fillers or autofill tools by name, don't use SweepTakers on it.

We read a general ban on bots, scripts or other automated methods as aimed at entries made by software, not at filling in your own details while you enter yourself. We read a ban on entry services as aimed at companies that enter sweepstakes for you in bulk, by mailing entries or submitting them automatically. SweepTakers isn't one of them: it's productivity software that fills in your details, and you start the fill yourself, review it and submit your own entry. We read a ban on artificial intelligence (AI) as aimed at entries that AI makes or submits. For filling forms, SweepTakers uses AI only to draft and check the form templates we use for some sweepstakes ahead of time and, during a fill, to recognize fields it can't match on its own. For those fields it sends AI the website's domain name and how the page describes them (such as their labels), never your saved profile or what's in the form's fields, and it first removes the saved details that could identify you, such as your name, email, phone number and address, where it finds them in that description. AI never enters for you or clicks Submit. But the sponsor decides: if you read the rules as forbidding SweepTakers, enter by hand. Our reading covers filling in your details, not the extension's "I agree" button: if you're not sure the rules allow the button, tick the boxes yourself.

Permissions, explained

activeTab

The page you're on, when you ask

Lets the extension read and fill the current page only after you click its toolbar button or menu item. Access ends when you leave the page or close the tab.

scripting

Run the form filler

Places the form filler on that page after you ask it to fill, so it can type your saved details into the form.

storage

Save settings in your browser

Keeps your settings, the extension's own sign-in, your Official Rules confirmations, short-lived caches and, in local-only mode, your autofill profile inside this browser.

contextMenus

Right-click menu

Adds a SweepTakers fill option to the menu you get when you right-click a page.

Optional site access

Giveaway platforms, only if you allow it

The extension can ask for access to common giveaway platforms whose entry forms sit inside a brand's page. Chrome asks you first, and you can turn it off at any time in the extension's settings.

It doesn't ask to read your browsing history, and it can't see pages you don't ask it to fill unless you grant optional site access.

  4. Come back to this page and click Connect this browser.
